01Who is responsible

02What this site does not do
It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There are no analytics, ads, tracking pixels or social widgets, no accounts and no forms. Fonts, images and scripts are served from this site itself, so opening a page does not contact anyone else.
03Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel. When you open a page, your browser sends a normal request, and Vercel processes the technical details needed to deliver it and keep it secure: your IP address, the browser and device type it reports, the page requested and the time. I do not use these records to identify or profile visitors. Vercel may process them outside the EU; its privacy policy explains how. The basis is a legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
04The demos run in your browser
- Device Info. When its demo comes into view, or when you press “Check this device”, it reads what your browser already exposes: browser and system name, screen and window size, languages, time zone and local time, whether cookies are allowed and the page is encrypted, number of processor cores, approximate memory, battery level and connection type if your browser shares them, and whether you are online. It also times three small requests to this site and compares your clock with the time in their replies. The results are shown only to you; nothing is sent or saved. “Copy report” uses your clipboard only when you press it.
- Connection details. The response time in the menu and the “Your link” line at the bottom of the page show what your browser reports about your connection and how long a tiny request to this site takes. They are shown to you and go nowhere else.
- Subtitles Fixer. A file you choose is read and repaired on the page, and the download is created in your browser. It is never uploaded.
- Everything else. The other demos (NOVA, AirFliq, PadelGod and the rest) use sample data. Anything you type stays on the page and is gone when you leave it.
05Live sites and links
Some project pages can show one of my other websites inside the page, but only after you press the button to load it; until then you see a screenshot. Once loaded, that site comes from its own server and its own privacy policy applies. The same goes for links to the App Store, Google Play, GitHub, Credly or LinkedIn, and for the apps shown here: each is a separate service with its own rules.
06If you email me
I use your address and message only to reply, keep them only as long as the conversation needs, and never share them.
07Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy. Email cosmin.trica@outlook.com. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP.
08Changes
If any of this changes, for example if analytics are ever added, this page will say so first, with a new date at the top.
